Successful completion of two days “ international conference on Indigenous-led Research and Education” in Kathmandu from 27-28 September 2023, bringing together professors, researchers, development partners, and community members from nine countries from Asia, the Pacific, and America to enhance research, education and development policies that Indigenous Peoples' traditional knowledge, livelihoods, cultural values, and skills, which are essential for sustainable resource management, climate resilience, and rights-based conservation. The conference concluded with solidarity and future collaboration among the Indigenous Peoples’ organizations, donors, and government agencies to foster Indigenous knowledge, education, and development with self-respect and dignity for peace, prosperity, and a sustainable world.
